Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Probe UK. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy engineering production site in Bilston, near Wolverhampton.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal production levels.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and fault-finding activities to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Siemens S7 systems and heavy engineering principles.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Recognized engineering qualifications and a strong background in heavy engineering.
  • Experience with Siemens S7 systems and a good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
