Data Analysis Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our team on a 9-month temporary basis. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working with data and want to make a real impact.

About the Role

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting data-driven decision-making within our organization. You will work closely with healthcare professionals and managers to extract, analyze, and interpret data, providing valuable insights to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the Deputy Chief Operating Officer and team with RTT waiting time and other performance standards analysis.
  2. Monitor and report on the impact of RTT trajectories and improvement scenarios.
  3. Collaborate with Divisional Business Analysts to create activity plans for the 2025-26 planning round, linked to meeting RTT national compliance targets.
  4. Develop and automate models for RTT trajectories.
  5. Lead Demand and Capacity for RTT, supporting services in using and interpreting models.
  6. Ensure effective data capture for RTT performance monitoring.
  7. Benchmark UHDB RTT performance with peers to identify improvement areas.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a Data Analyst role within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience in developing and automating models for performance tracking.
  • Proficiency in using business intelligence tools (SQL, Power BI) for data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of RTT performance standards and reporting requirements is highly desirable.
