Job Title: Quality Inspector

Mercury Hampton Ltd is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team in Droitwich. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products and maintaining our high standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure goods in goods inward and in build within the Assembly environment.
  • Pass, refer, or fail goods in the Assembly as appropriate, keeping the Quality Engineer and/or Line Management informed with regular updates.
  • Use a multitude of hand tools, including screwdrivers, pliers, torque wrenches, power tools, and other equipment to inspect and measure goods.
  • Demonstrate excellent judgement skills, passing or referring inspection results and quality issues to the Quality Engineer and/or line management.
  • Hold the production team to account to ensure that quality standards are maintained and not allowed to be accepted into build without due authorization.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in using a multitude of test and precision measuring equipment.
  • Excellent judgement skills and ability to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues and management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality.
