Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Quality Assurance to join our team at Omega Resource Group. As a leading employment agency specializing in opportunities within the Engineering, Aerospace, Automotive, Electronics, Defence, Scientific, Oil & Gas, Construction, and Manufacturing sectors, we are looking for a professional who can lead our quality assurance function and drive excellence in quality management.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the quality assurance function across 4 manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with ISO9001 certified QMS and customer specifications.
- Develop and implement long-term quality assurance strategies to reduce quality-associated risks and improve customer satisfaction.
- Lead and manage the quality function from new product conception to warranty analysis, ensuring a proactive culture that meets customer expectations.
- Represent the company in front of the global supply base, adding value to sourcing, design, development, and quality management.
- Manage and maintain procedures and processes within the QMS, ensuring company-wide compliance with UK, legal, and customer standards.
- Proven leadership experience in quality functions and heading up a quality department within a manufacturing business.
- Experience in ISO management systems such as ISO9001, 14001, and 45001.
- Desirable background in steel fabrications and/or machining environment.
