Special Education Support Role

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Nova Training.

Role Overview

This is a part-time, permanent role working 28 hours per week, Monday to Thursday. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with students with special educational needs and will be committed to ensuring that all students have access to high quality education and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage challenging student behaviours
  2. Support students to achieve academic success
  3. Contribute to the development of our core vision and values
  4. Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent outcomes
  5. Utilise subject knowledge within English and Maths to support student learning
Essential Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience as a Teaching Assistant in an education setting
  • Relevant Qualification/training in Special Education
  • Previous experience of working with learners who have an EHCP would be beneficial
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate a commitment to innovative teaching practices

Compensation:
