Mobile Service and Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking two qualified and experienced Mobile Service and Maintenance Engineers to join our team.

Our client is a leading provider of sustainable ammonia refrigeration technology and standard F Gas systems. As a Mobile Service and Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out service, repair, and maintenance visits to various sites, ensuring equipment functions safely and meets business and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out service, repair, and maintenance visits to various sites, ensuring equipment functions safely and meets business and customer requirements.
  2. Suggest options for improving performance and energy-saving methods at the conclusion of site visits to optimize performance and offer cost savings.
  3. Respond to unplanned breakdown calls on a rotational call-out basis, ensuring timely service and excellent customer service.
  4. Oversee and assist in contract installation work, ensuring processes are followed correctly and quality and health and safety requirements are met.
  5. Manage sub-contractors, supervising them to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  6. Assist Group colleagues with mechanical installation work to support effective service delivery.
  7. Complete reporting paperwork daily to maintain compliance with quality standards and Health and Safety requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Highly skilled with a minimum of 5 years' experience in Refrigeration service and repair.
  2. Electrical qualification.
  3. Electrical fault finding.
  4. Ability to work alone and unsupervised.
  5. Full UK driving license.
  6. Excellent customer service skills.
  7. Experience of refrigeration control systems (RDM, Telstar, etc.).
  8. Forklift License.
  9. Manual Handling.
  10. Confined Space working.
  11. Prepared to travel throughout the UK and abroad if required.
