Mobile Service and Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking two qualified and experienced Mobile Service and Maintenance Engineers to join our team. Our client is a leading provider of sustainable ammonia refrigeration technology and standard F Gas systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out service, repair, and maintenance visits to various sites, ensuring equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.
  • Suggest options for improving performance and energy-saving methods at the conclusion of site visits to optimise performance and offer cost savings.
  • Respond to unplanned breakdown calls on a rotational call-out basis, ensuring timely service and excellent customer service.
  • Attend sites to oversee and assist in contract installation work, ensuring processes are followed correctly and quality and health and safety requirements are met.
  • Manage day-to-day supervision of sub-contractors to ensure quality standards are adhered to.
  • Assist Group colleagues with mechanical installation work when required, maintaining high levels of standard and customer service.
  • Complete reporting paperwork daily to maintain compliance with quality standards and Health and Safety requirements.
Requirements:
  • Highly skilled with a minimum of 5 years' experience in Refrigeration service and repair.
  • Electrical qualification.
  • Electrical fault finding.
  • Ability to work alone and unsupervised.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience with refrigeration control systems (RDM, Telstar, etc.).
  • Forklift License.
  • Manual Handling.
  • Confined Space working.
  • Prepared to travel throughout the UK and abroad if required.
