About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Asset Technician to join our team at Anglian Water Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical assets, including wiring, installing, maintaining, and controlling electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical assets
  • Work towards a Licence to Operate Qualification to enable operation and maintenance of water treatment assets and processes
  • Manage and assist electrical framework contractors and internal high voltage, optimisation, and automation teams
  • Utilise electrical drawings and extensive electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Liaise with other team members to react to technical issues to maintain water supply
Requirements
  • Completed apprenticeship and relevant electrical qualification
  • Ability to learn quickly and use own initiative to solve problems
  • Flexibility to work a standby rota, with a requirement to live within a specific area
