Freight Sales Executive

Heathrow Personnel is seeking an experienced Freight Sales Executive to join their successful team.
Daily duties would include:
- Developing and executing sales strategies to meet customer needs
- Managing internal and external pricing to ensure competitiveness
- Cold calling and client visits to identify new business opportunities
- Liaising with key accounts, sales and operations teams to drive sales growth
- Quoting customers and following up on sales leads
- Updating customer tariffs and negotiating rates to meet customer requirements
- Identifying market trends, customer needs and opportunities for growth
- Leading marketing and communication efforts to promote the product offering across the business
Requirements:
- Previous freight forwarding experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- PC literate and proficient in Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving license and ability to work within a 15-mile radius of Gatwick airport
