Clinical Pharmacist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to join our dynamic team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing clinical pharmacy services to patients with mental illness, enhancing their medicines-related care and supporting the development of medicines management services.
Main Responsibilities- Provide clinical pharmacy advice on the management of patients with mental illness to maximize benefit and minimize risk in relation to medicines.
- Contribute to the organization and management of the clinical pharmacy service to specific wards/units/clinical teams.
- Support and participate in clinical audit to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.
- Support in the education and training of staff groups to enhance their knowledge and skills in clinical pharmacy practice.

Requirements- Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
- General Pharmaceutical Council registration.
- PG certificate/diploma in mental health pharmacy or equivalent experience.
- Member of the RPS/Faculty membership.
