Locum Clinical Pharmacist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at an NHS hospital in Essex. As a wards based Pharmacist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications across various wards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Checking prescriptions for errors and ensuring they are appropriate and safe for individual patients
  • Providing advice on medication dosage and form
  • Participating in ward rounds to take patient drug histories
  • Liaising with medical staff on medication-related issues
  • Discussing treatments with patients' relatives, community pharmacists, and GPs

Requirements:

  • Previous wards based experience is essential
  • Opportunity to develop clinical skill set
  • 3/4/5 days per week available

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £28 to £31
  • Ongoing contract
  • Part-time hours available
