As a Specialist Mental Health Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the medicines-related care of patients and supporting the provision and development of medicines management services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical pharmacy services to enhance patient care and support the development of medicines management services.
- Participate in training, education, and audit to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.
- Contribute to the organisation and management of the clinical pharmacy service to specific wards/units/clinical teams.
- Provide clinical pharmacy advice on the management of patients with mental illness to maximise benefit and minimise risk in relation to medicines.
- Support and participate in clinical audit to ensure the quality of care.
- Support in the education and training of staff groups to ensure the effective use of medicines.
- Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
- General Pharmaceutical Council registration.
- PG certificate/diploma in mental health pharmacy or equivalent experience.
- Member of the RPS/Faculty membership.
