Role Overview:
In the dynamic environment of a special needs school, we seek an experienced and dedicated Special Needs Educator to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be instrumental in providing personalized support to students aged 11-19 with diverse needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and physical disabilities.

About the Position:
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students who require tailored support to succeed academically and personally. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized learning plans that cater to the specific needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to students with complex needs, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and activities, adapting to meet the needs of students with varying abilities
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social skills, emotional intelligence, and academic achievement

Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant or equivalent role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Enhanced DBS clearance and willingness to undergo regular updates
