Special Educational Needs Primary Teacher

The RoleAs an SEN Primary Teacher, you will work directly with students who have a variety of special educational needs, including physical, emotional, and learning challenges. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Individualised Support: Develop and implement personalised learning strategies to help students access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress and provide insightful feedback to parents and colleagues to support their academic growth.
- Emotional Support: Foster a nurturing and secure environment, offering emotional guidance and encouragement to students in need.
- Communication: Ensure effective communication with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in each student's educational journey.
- Inclusion: Advocate for inclusivity within the school community, ensuring that students with special educational needs feel a sense of belonging and support.
We are looking for a skilled and empathetic SEN Primary Teacher who:
- Has relevant experience as an SEN Teacher or in a similar role.
- Can demonstrate empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help students with special educational needs succeed.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is adaptable and able to work collaboratively with the school team.
This role offers a competitive daily rate of £150-£230, a supportive and collaborative work environment, and opportunities for professional development and training in supporting students with diverse special educational needs.
Please note that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Successful applicants must undergo all necessary background checks, including an enhanced DBS check on the update service.
