Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) teacher to join our team at a renowned special school in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a significant impact in the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN). This role involves supporting the teaching and learning of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) across various age groups. You will assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), provide one-on-one or small group support to pupils, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

We require a confident and proactive approach to supporting pupils with SEND. You should have experience working with children with special educational needs in a similar or transferable role. Possession of a current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one is also required.
