Job Title

A highly skilled Nurse Practitioner Lead is required to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic Primary Care setting.

About the Role

This rewarding position involves delivering high-quality care to patients from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Primary Care setting and be an NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice training working towards non-medical prescriber status.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet patient needs, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care for presenting patients from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
  • Demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
  • Work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet patient needs, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.
Requirements
  • Experience in a Primary Care setting.
  • NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice training working towards non-medical prescriber.
  • Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care.
  • Level 7 (MSc) Practitioner or accreditation/MSc course to ACP status.
