Domestic Supervisor Nights

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Domestic Supervisor to join our Night Team at The Royal Liverpool Hospital. As a key member of our Domestic Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the cleaning team to ensure that all areas of the hospital are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Monitor and maintain the National Standards of Cleanliness 2021, COSHH, and Infection Prevention & Control procedures.
- Ensure that all staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties safely and effectively.
- Liaise with service users and local managers to resolve any issues that may impact service delivery.
- Conduct regular quality control checks and implement remedial action as necessary.
- Manage the operation of the team within strict financial parameters and provide explanations for any variance from planned expenditure.
- Conduct staff interviews, including appraisals, sickness, bereavement, discipline, and grievance, in accordance with Trust policies.
- NVQ Level 3 in Leadership (or equivalent)
- Previous cleaning experience at a supervisory level
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and lead by example
- Basic data inputting and numeracy skills
