About Our Home:
Amy Woodgate House is a specialist resource centre for older people with dementia, providing a home-from-home environment with large en-suite facilities. Our home is divided into four living units, each with a sitting and dining room, kitchen area, and accommodation for 40 permanent and 4 short stay residents.
We're Seeking an Experienced Home Manager:
We're looking for a skilled and compassionate Home Manager to lead our team at Amy Woodgate House. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents, building occupancy, and recruiting, training, and retaining a professional and experienced staff team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the service provided to our residents is of the highest quality
- Build and maintain occupancy through effective marketing and recruitment strategies
- Recruit, train, and retain a professional and experienced staff team
- Comply with CQC, business governance, and operational policies and procedures
- Manage home profit and loss within a set budget
- Promote marketing ideas to grow the reputation of the home
Requirements:
- Proven track record in successful CQC good-rated care home management
- Qualification in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care (Level 5)
- Compassionate and assertive leadership style
- Ability to provide day-to-day operational management, employee motivation, and commercial drive
- Experience in executing action plans to increase occupancy
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Diploma in Health and Social Care (Level 5)
- Registered Nurse Certification desired
