We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Vascular Scientist to join our Vascular Lab team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our vascular services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and report vascular ultrasound examinations with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage the patient workload and prioritize tasks to optimize patient flow.
- Participate in research, audit, and teaching activities to enhance our services and improve patient outcomes.
- Supervise and train junior staff members, including Clinical Vascular Scientists and trainees.
- Contribute to the development of our vascular services, including the implementation of new procedures and technologies.
- Accreditation as a Vascular Scientist via The Society of Vascular Scientists or equivalent qualifications.
- Strong experience of vascular ultrasound scanning and a highly developed specialized knowledge of the full range of non-invasive vascular measurements.
- Previous NHS experience and specialized knowledge of vascular anatomy.
- Leadership and management experience, as well as research training and experience.
