We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recovery Specialist to join our team at With You. As a Recovery Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and group support to clients, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop personalized support plans.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as healthcare providers and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct assessments and reviews to monitor client progress and make adjustments to support plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions and progress.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- SVQ level 3 in Social Services & Healthcare or equivalent.
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or meet the registration requirements.
- Experience working in a health, social care, or related setting.
- Knowledge and understanding of delivering evidence-based interventions.
- Experience delivering group work, specifically in outreach and community settings.
- Knowledge of health and safety, including assessing clients in high-risk situations.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Resilience under pressure and ability to prioritize work.
- Comfortable using IT and digital media.
- Flexibility with working hours and willingness to support other With You locations when needed.
