Key Responsibilities
- Manage real-time running of Colas Rail Freight services, escalating and managing accidents and incidents.
- Deliver a safe, efficient, and optimal train plan for all Colas customers during normal train running and disruptive events.
- Proactively manage the reporting, recording, and escalation of any incidents/accidents/environmental occurrences.
- Assist in ensuring that all work undertaken is recorded, logged, and reported to the correct management personnel.
Person Specification
- Experience of working within a highly pressurised operations environment.
- Good negotiating skills and ability to make objective decisions.
- Dynamic, able to work without supervision, and use initiative.
- Ability to manage conflict, influence others, and work under pressure.
