Assistant Team Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Child Safeguarding Specialist to join our team in Hampshire. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our services, particularly with our transition to the new Family Help Model.
The role involves supporting Social Workers within the Children's Assessment Safeguarding Team, who work with children under child protection plans, child-in-need plans, and those involved in Public Law Outline/initial care proceedings.
Key responsibilities include implementing the Hampshire Approach and ensuring the child's voice is heard.
As part of a dedicated Family Help team, you will actively participate in this transformative journey, contributing to enhancing our service. A proven track record in statutory social care practice, working collaboratively with children, young people, and their families, is essential for this role.
To be successful, you should possess:
- A social work qualification and registration with Social Work England
- Proven experience in statutory social care practice
- Ability to work collaboratively with children, young people, and their families
- A current drivers' licence and access to a reliable vehicle on a regular basis
The estimated salary for this role is £42,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
