Parker's Tavern is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Kitchen Porter. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
About UsOur hotel boasts 192 design-led bedrooms, complemented by Parker's Tavern, a high-end restaurant & bar, along with the adjoining library, bar, and ballroom.
Set in the heart of Cambridge, we offer a unique blend of modern luxury and enchanting discovery.
What You'll Be DoingAs a Kitchen Porter, you will work closely with our team of Chefs to maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen. This will include:
- Cleaning and maintaining all kitchen areas and the staff canteen.
- Maintaining food hygiene standards.
- Manual handling or lifting may be required, and the work is physically demanding.
We are looking for a flexible and dedicated individual who enjoys being part of a team. No previous experience is needed, but a basic level of English is required.
You must be available to work a varied schedule including early & late shifts, weekends, and bank holidays.
The PerksThis role comes with a competitive salary of £47 per hour, Tronc: £1.60 per hour, and additional benefits including free meals on duty, room and F&B discounts across the Marriott portfolio, and refer-a-friend scheme.
