Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Special Needs Support Specialist to join our team at beBee Professionals in Romford.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic individual to provide individualized support to students with special educational needs. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome learning barriers and achieve their full potential.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement personalized education plans (PEPs) for students with SEN.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support during lessons to help students access the curriculum.
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters social interaction and emotional well-being.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to individual needs are crucial qualities for this role.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are desirable but not mandatory.
