Supporting Children with Special Educational Needs in Mainstream Primary School
A fantastic mainstream primary school in Havering, London is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who require extra support in primary school or recent graduates in Education or Psychology.
About the Role:
- Supporting children with a variety of special educational needs including ASD, ADHD, challenging behaviour, or learning difficulties.
- Working closely with the class teacher to provide individualized support and ensure the best possible education for each child.
- Building rapport with allocated children and helping them feel confident in and out of the classroom.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEN or recent graduates in Education or Psychology.
- Ability to work 1-2-1 with SEN students.
- Passion for supporting children with additional needs.
