About the Role:

Pertemps TM is seeking a skilled Support Worker to join their team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals across Bristol, providing housing support and working closely with other agencies to address specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building Networks: Source accommodation for clients, utilizing your knowledge of welfare and housing benefits to ensure effective support.
  • Housing Management: Support residents to manage their tenancy, including budgeting, bill management, and exploring options for education, training, and employment.
  • Support Planning: Develop and implement support plans and risk assessments to ensure the well-being of clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other agencies, including Drug and Alcohol services and Mental health services, to provide comprehensive support.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous support work experience is ideal, with a strong understanding of the needs of clients.
  • Empathy and Understanding: Demonstrate empathy and understanding of the needs of clients, with a strong ability to build rapport.
  • Driving License: Possess a full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle.
  • DBS: Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate.
