SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Newham.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work 1:1 with autistic children in KS2, providing support and guidance to help them reach their full potential.

  • Varied role working with a number of key children
  • Opportunity to develop skills in communicating with non-verbal children
  • Great leadership from SENCO and SLT
  • Good location easily accessible from anywhere in East London
Requirements

We are looking for a SEN professional with experience working with autism in primary schools, who is looking for a long-term role for this academic year and ideally into next year.

  • SEN experience working with autism in primary schools
  • Ability to develop skills in communicating with non-verbal children
  • Long-term commitment to the role
