SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Newham.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work 1:1 with autistic children in KS2, providing individualized support and developing strategies to enhance their learning experience.

  • Varied and challenging role working with a number of key children
  • Opportunity to work with a skilled and dedicated SEN team
  • Strong leadership from SENCO and SLT

Requirements

We are looking for a SEN professional with experience working with autism in primary schools, who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our students.

  • Experience working with autistic children in a primary school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
