SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in the London Borough of Newham. The successful candidate will work 1:1 with autistic children in KS2, providing support and guidance to help them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work 1:1 with autistic children in KS2
  • Provide support and guidance to help children reach their full potential
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and SLT to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
  • SEN experience working with autistic children in primary schools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the SENCO and SLT
  • Knowledge of autism and its impact on children's learning and behavior
