Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Educational Leader to join our team as Head of SEN Provision in East London.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading and managing teams to deliver high-quality education and care to students with special educational needs (SEN) and neurodiverse learning requirements.

  • Lead and manage a team of teachers and support staff to deliver high-quality education and care to students with SEN and neurodiverse learning requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support students with SEN and neurodiverse learning requirements, including ASC and/or SEMH.
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop and deliver high-quality training programs that promote best practice in SEND and inclusion.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote inclusivity and diversity within the school community.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher (holding QTS or equivalent) or Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience within inclusion or in SEND, therapeutic or outreach education sector.
  • Experience of managing neurodiverse children with SEND, including ASC and/or SEMH.
  • Proven skills in data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, parents, and carers.
Salary

£54,000 - £57,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
