Job Description:

We are looking for a Waking Night Support Worker to join our team at Chy Keres in Tregadillett. This role involves supporting individuals with learning disabilities during the night, providing personal care, administering medication, and completing administration tasks.

Salary Information:

The salary for this position is £11.74 per hour, plus a 10% waking nights enhancement, taking the hourly rate to £12.91. Annual leave entitlement is 33 days, including 8 statutory bank holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with medication administration
  • Monitoring people we support, due to medical needs, such as epilepsy
  • Providing support and reassurance during the night to someone, who may be struggling to sleep
  • Support with personal care
  • Completing administration tasks such as logs or updating plans
  • General household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, organising

Requirements:

  • A UK driving license is desirable but not essential, as public transport is very restricted due to the service being located in a rural area
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
