Job Title: Field Care Supervisor

At Home Instead, we're committed to delivering exceptional care to our clients, and we're seeking a skilled Field Care Supervisor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Support: Provide guidance and support to care professionals during consultations, service reviews, and client support plans.
  • Staff Supervision: Conduct regular supervisions and quality assurance checks to ensure high-quality care delivery.
  • Care Planning: Create, update, and audit client care plans, and assist with digital care planning.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client and care professional interactions on our software and People Planner.
  • Client Introductions: Conduct introductions between clients, their families, and care professionals.
  • Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with clients, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
  • Client Reviews: Conduct regular client reviews and implement actions accordingly.
  • Mentorship: Support and mentor care professionals to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional care.
  • Team Support: Provide support to the Client Experience team as needed.
  • Communication: Maintain regular contact with clients and care professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with Home Instead's Equality, Diversity, and Equal Opportunities Policy in respect of employment and service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Care Experience: Experience in the care sector delivering a wide range of personal care services.
  • Supervisory Experience: Experience of working with MAR sheets and medication in a supervisory role.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Care Technology: Confident use of care management technology, including providing support and training to care professionals.
  • Confidentiality: Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and working within current legislation.
  • IT Skills: Good working knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office or Google Suite, and virtual communication platforms.
  • Transportation: Full driving license and means of transport if required within the territory to visit clients.
  • Flexibility: Organized and flexible to meet the needs of the business.
