About the Service:

The Court Team is a specialist team within the Safeguarding Service, working closely with the Children's Legal Team to prepare cases for court and secure permanent care for children. As a Court Practitioner, you will play a key role in this service, conducting assessments and gathering information to inform court decisions.

Responsibilities:

">
  • To conduct assessments and gather information to inform court decisions
  • To develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of children
  • To work closely with other agencies such as Police, Health and Education to provide a holistic approach to child protection

Requirements:

">
  • Registered Senior Practitioner with a relevant qualification in social work or a related field
  • Experience of working in a court team environment and knowledge of the court process
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
">

Salary and Benefits:

">

A competitive salary of £43,712 per annum, plus a £2,000 Golden Hello and £2,000 Annual Retention Allowance. A lease car is also available as part of the benefits package.
