About the Role

At Priors Court Foundation, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Care Manager to lead our team of dedicated professionals in providing exceptional care and support to autistic young people with complex needs.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing and mentoring staff, ensuring that best practices are followed and high-quality care is delivered at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Line manage, coach, and mentor a team of experienced care practitioners.
  • Support the recruitment and induction of new staff members.
  • Manage staff attendance, including sickness and other absences.
  • Oversee staff performance through regular check-ins, conduct reviews, performance improvement plans, and risk assessments.
  • Implement autism-friendly strategies to enhance learning and wellbeing for young people.
  • Assist in understanding and applying individualized 'This Is Me' plans.
  • Provide personal care aligned with each young person's 'This Is Me' plan.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a support worker with autism experience and/or learning disability experience.
  • Experience in line management, coaching, and mentoring of small teams is desirable.
  • Level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification required.

  • An estimated salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.

Please note that this role requires a holder of a full UK driving licence due to our location. The successful candidate will be expected to work early and late shifts across a seven-day week.
