About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Management Analyst to join our Exposure Management Team at Aviva. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in supporting the management of our exposures across all lines of business written by UKGI across the globe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and Analyze Exposure Data: Utilize 3rd party and proprietary platforms and tools to ensure data quality, accuracy, and adherence to internal guidelines relative to Aviva's Risk appetite. Effectively communicate any relevant findings to the responsible underwriters.
  • Collaborate with Underwriters: Work closely with underwriters to communicate portfolio aggregations both within each class and across the business.
  • Develop Exposure Management Techniques: Support the development of Aviva's exposure management techniques for non-modelled perils/territories and improvement of existing techniques.
  • Support Group Rollup Process: Assist in the group rollup process and associated reporting requirements for the Commercial division.
  • Data Audit and Quality: Carry out data quality analytics and work with underwriters to improve the completeness, resolution, and appropriateness of key data inputs.
Requirements
  • Strong Experience in Exposure Management: Proven experience within an Exposure management team and understanding of Insurance and Reinsurance.
  • Practical Experience: Practical experience of portfolio roll-up, implementing control frameworks, MI design, reporting, and communication.
  • Mathematical and Statistical Concepts: Strong understanding of key mathematical and statistical concepts, and of Cat metrics such as PMLs and AALs.
  • Control Framework: Experience in working within an appropriate control framework to ensure robust delivery of figures for reporting.
  • Organizational and Communication Skills: Strong organizational skills, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.
