About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Exposure Management Specialist to join our team at Finitas. As a key member of our Underwriting team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our Underwriters, utilizing third-party catastrophe models and in-house tools for pre-underwriting analysis, and assisting with ad-hoc project work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with Underwriters to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Utilize third-party catastrophe models and in-house tools to conduct pre-underwriting analysis and provide insights to Underwriters.
  • Assist with ad-hoc project work, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain technical skills, including SQL, to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a London Market Exposure Management/Catastrophe role.
  • Excellent technical skills, including SQL.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with Underwriters and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
