About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs in a full-time position at an Ofsted-rated "Good" secondary school in Wilmslow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support and guidance for students with learning difficulties, emotional, or physical needs.
  • Assist small groups of students during lessons to reinforce understanding and help them stay on track with the class.
  • Work closely with class teachers to adapt lesson materials and resources to meet the individual learning needs of students.
  • Help develop individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor students' progress to ensure they are achieving their targets.
  • Promote positive behavior and support students in managing their social, emotional, and learning challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SEN coordinators, and external professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Provide extra help during exams and assessments by assisting with revision strategies and adapting exam techniques to suit individual needs.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive pay rate: £419.25 - £500 per week, depending on experience.
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday position.
  • Potential for a permanent role based on performance.
