Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our Repairs & Maintenance team at Rochdale Boroughwide Housing.

As a Multi-Skilled Handyman, you will be responsible for undertaking repairs and maintenance works to our property portfolio to ensure our homes are safe and secure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake repairs and maintenance works to our property portfolio.
  • Work at heights, using ladders and/or scaffolding, and in confined spaces.
  • Manage and plan a varied workload with competing demands.
  • Participate in the emergency repairs call-out service, working outside normal hours as required.

Requirements

  • Holds a full UK driving license.
  • Has a strong customer focus.
  • Holds a recognised Plastering qualification, such as City & Guilds or NVQ.
  • Has previous experience of working within a repairs and maintenance service, preferably relating to a domestic property portfolio.
  • Has excellent multi-trade ability, knowledge, and experience.
