SEMH Teaching Assistant Role in Southwark

We are seeking a Psychology Graduate to join our team as a SEMH Teaching Assistant in a Primary School environment in Southwark. This exciting opportunity will allow you to gain valuable experience supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

Job Summary:
  • Support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Work alongside our SEN team to deliver tailored interventions
  • Gain experience in a school setting and develop your skills as a SEMH Teaching Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver targeted support to pupils with SEMH needs
  • Collaborate with the SEN team to develop and implement interventions
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a 2:1 degree from a Top 20 University
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with children and staff
