Behaviour Support Specialist

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Behaviour Mentor to join our primary team as we focus on the progress of our SEN pupils. The successful candidate will support the classroom teacher in working with SEMH/SEN pupils and differentiate work according to each child's individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the classroom teacher in working with SEMH/SEN pupils.
- Differentiate work according to each child's individual needs.
- Have good organisational skills.
- Have good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Provide one-on-one support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required.
- Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience working with SEMH/SEN pupils.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of behaviour management.
- Desirable: Experience working with children with SEN in a school/provision.
