Sr. Program Manager - Geo Expansions

About the Role
As a Sr. Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading the geography expansions for Amazon Freight EU, a critical component of our innovation and transformation efforts. You will design and launch new geographies to unlock total addressable opportunity, create a go-to-market strategy, and monitor performance metrics to drive success.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for launching Amazon Freight to new geographies.
  2. Create a go-to-market plan to unlock new geography potential and drive success.
  3. Launch programs, monitor performance metrics, and report on key objectives that impact deliverables.
  4. Use data to identify operational challenges and develop continuous improvement initiatives.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage best practices and drive progress.
  6. Lead a multidisciplinary team to overcome challenges and drive results.
  7. Manage stakeholders and internal processes to define standards.

About the Team
Amazon's Transportation Service (ATS) team is a diverse and dynamic group that plays a critical role in our success. As part of ATS, you will be part of a team that captures data to drive decisions, prioritizes safety, and uses expertise to deliver packages quickly, conveniently, and sustainably.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree.
  2. Experience in program management and delivering complex projects.
  3. Experience working with cross-functional and executive stakeholders.
  4. Data analytics skills to evaluate and define strategic initiatives.
  5. Relevant experience in using data to influence business decisions.
  6. Experience working with the MS Office suite and/or SQL in a professional environment.
  7. Relevant experience driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Masters degree (MBA).
  2. Experience launching organizations to new geographies (preferably EU).
  3. Experience creating go-to-market strategies for new launches.
  4. Experience working with tax, legal, and compliance domains for EU launch space.
  5. Experience in transportation organizations.
