Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team as a Specialist MSK Physiotherapist (Rotational) in Surrey Downs H&C.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and experience working in a rotational environment.

The role will involve working across various outpatient settings, including GP clinics, outpatient departments, and community hospitals, and will provide opportunities for professional development and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the band 6 rotational schedule, working across Surrey Downs in a range of outpatient settings.
  • Formulate and deliver individual physiotherapy treatment programs based on evidence-based practice and treatment options.
  • Manage clinical risk within own patient caseload, seeking guidance from band 7s or APPs as appropriate.
  • Work within Surrey Downs Health and Care and CSP clinical guidelines, and maintain a good working knowledge of national and local standards.
  • Make accurate and complete records of work undertaken, and keep monthly statistics in line with CSP and physiotherapy department standards.
  • Teach, assess, and contribute to the performance assessment of junior physiotherapists and physiotherapy technical staff.

Requirements:

  • Degree in physiotherapy.
  • Evidence of CPD, including attendance at relevant postgraduate training.
  • Member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
  • NHS (or equivalent) experience as a band 5 in a broad range of rotational posts.
  • Experience of working as part of a physiotherapy and/or multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience of supervision of physiotherapy assistants or students.
