Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our team in Surgery. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
About the Role:- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in Surgery, including assessment, treatment, and discharge planning.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Band 6 role, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices, with a focus on acute care and surgery.
- A competitive hourly pay rate of £24-£26.
