Medical Specialist

Priory Hospital Kemple View is a leading healthcare provider seeking a highly skilled Associate Specialist Doctor to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Consultant Psychiatrist to provide continuous medical cover to patients on the ward.
The ideal candidate will have 12 months' adult psychiatry experience and be able to fulfill the role of Approved Clinician to patients detained under the Mental Health Act (1983). You will also have excellent knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 (2007) and Code of Practice, as well as the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Code of Capacity.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assessing and treating patients under Consultant supervision
- Developing and implementing treatment plans
- Participating in multidisciplinary ward rounds and risk reviews
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive medical records
