Job Summary:

Chevron Traffic Management is seeking a skilled Traffic Management Operative to join our team. As a 12d/Unit 2 Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe management of temporary road closures, diversions, and pedestrian walkways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings, and near misses.
  • Maintenance of temporary traffic lights.
  • Installing, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic management equipment, including cones, signs, frames, sandbags, and other equipment.
  • Assist in training and guiding new trainees.

Requirements:

  • SLG Unit 2 or M1/M2 qualified as a minimum.
  • 12d Lantra qualification is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of Chapter 8.
  • Full driving license with no more than 6 points.
  • Able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
  • Positive "can-do" attitude.
  • Adaptability and flexibility.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
