Regional Team Manager

Department: HR Shared Services

Location: Field Based

Reports To: Head of Payroll & HR Services

Work Details: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday)

Salary: £33,000-£36,000

Job Purpose

The Regional Team Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of 7 direct reports and ensuring efficient operations within a segment of the HR Shared Services team. This role involves utilizing systems such as Workday, ProMark, and Service Now, managing time and attendance systems, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other legislation, and maintaining SOPs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Management: Develop and implement standardized processes for shared services, monitor efficiency, and collaborate with other Regional Managers.
  • SLA Management: Ensure SLAs are met, review performance, and address deviations.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team supporting circa 1500 team members, fostering teamwork and growth.
  • Change Management: Support change initiatives, communicate changes, and assist with operational projects.
  • Compliance: Train on policies and processes, conduct audits, and ensure DSAR compliance.
  • Projects: Lead annual salary increase implementations, provide support to the payroll and HRSS team.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and time management skills.
  • Good numeric and keyboard skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for sensitive conversations.
  • Proficiency in MO365 tools, especially Excel, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
Desirable Requirements
  • PAYROLL or HR knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of systems like ProMark, Workday, and Service Now.
Additional Information

All staff must understand Good Distribution Practice of Medicinal Products for Human Use (2013/C 343/01) as outlined in SOP - REF Chapter 1 AHDL GDP 1.1. Training in this SOP and other GDP training will be provided.
