Equans is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, offering a competitive salary, company vehicle, and benefits package.

As a Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will work with our partner, Southern Water, on this contract, carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive call-outs on a wide range of Mechanical and Electrical Buildings Services Engineering plant.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring routine PPM is carried out to all mechanical and electrical plant in accordance with site task schedules and CAFM.
  • Completing reactive tasks throughout the sites and being proactive in highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Swiftly remedying plant faults and defects to maintain plant in serviceable order.
  • Completing all relevant paperwork and CAFM regarding PPM and reactive works.
  • Developing a good working relationship with all members of Equans staff, subcontractors, and client representatives.
  • Carrying out any other tasks as directed by the account management team.
  • Supervising and monitoring subcontractors' works while on site undertaking maintenance.
  • Maintaining all plant rooms under Equans' responsibility in a clean and tidy condition.

Who are we looking for?

  • Base Electrical Qualification (e.g., City & Guilds Part A and B or City & Guilds Pt 1 & Pt 2)
  • 18th Edition C&G
  • Testing & inspection
  • BTEC Level 3 Certification in Mechanical Engineering (desirable) or BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (desirable)
  • BTEC Level 3 in HVAC (desirable)
  • Competent Person Mechanical and Pressure Systems (desirable)
  • Experienced in Plumbing system Maintenance and fault rectification
  • Experience working on commercial buildings and sites
  • Must have full clean UK driving license and be able to drive
