Job Title: Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer

GH Engage Limited is seeking a skilled Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team in Hampshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering M&E / Air Conditioning maintenance across multiple sites in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform PPM and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of air conditioning systems.
  2. Service and maintain split systems, VRV's, VAV's, and VRF's, AHU's, FCU's, Chillers, and all HVAC and refrigeration plant.
  3. Utilize electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues related to air conditioning systems.
  4. Maintain and update log books to ensure accurate records of maintenance activities.
Requirements:
  1. Fgas 2079 Cat 1 certification is essential.
  2. NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is a minimum requirement, with NVQ Level 3 being desirable but not essential.
  3. NVQ / City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering is also desirable but not essential.
  4. 18th Edition certification is desirable but not essential.
  5. Daikin and Mitsubishi AC system knowledge is required.
  6. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in air conditioning maintenance is required.
  7. A full UK driving license with a clean record is essential.
Package:
  1. Salary: £40,000 - £43,000.
  2. Working hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm.
  3. Transport and expenses: Van and Fuel Card, Expenses Card for supplier costs and parts.
  4. Travel time: Paid after 30 minutes each way, with full payment for travel time before 7:30am and after 17:30pm.
  5. Holiday: 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
  6. Call out rota: 1 in 5 at present, with potential to extend to 1 in 9/10 as the team grows.
  7. Standby allowance: £125 when on call.
  8. Overtime: Time and a half as standard, with double time for weekends after Saturday 1pm, 10pm - 6am, and 6am - 8am.
