Job Role

We are seeking a Multi Trade Operative to join our team in Winchester.

The successful candidate will be a mobile operative and engineer responsible for responding to and completing repairs as directed. They will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance, responsive repairs, void works, and other similar activities within domestic and other properties.

The post holder will utilize all aspects of their specialist trade and secondary/multi trades, as well as their excellent analytical skills in diagnosing faults and implementing remedies on the first visit to the property as much as possible.

They will ensure that maintenance works are completed safely to SHE requirements, delivered efficiently, and to a professionally high standard; working flexibly, alone or within a team, and completing works within required timescales and deadlines.

The post holder will also contribute to ongoing development and skills through supporting trainees, apprentices, and other professional development.

As required, they will provide an out-of-hours service provision on a rota or other basis.

Utilizing mobile technology (PDA), the post holder will have robust time management, an eye for detail, and the ability to provide excellent and empathetic customer-focused services to a broad range of customers and residents.

They will be able to develop relationships with colleagues, have agility, multitask, and genuinely care about contributing to positive outcomes.
