About the Role

The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for working with clients to assess and treat mental health conditions, providing evidence-based therapies and interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop treatment plans for clients with complex mental health needs.
  • Provide highly skilled and sensitive communication to clients, families, and other professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care and services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of services.
Requirements
  • Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology and current registration with the Health Professions Council as a clinical psychologist or a Counselling Psychologist.
  • Experience of working with client populations, managing complexity and risk, and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the changing NHS and Social Care environment and the challenges they face.
  • Experience of working at all levels of the system with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Expertise in managing and treating the client group, with some experience of clinical supervision.
